Summer 20/20/20 Hydration Challenge

Typically, in the month of August, we see record hot temps across the world, but with the temperature already exceeding expectations this year, we're sure to hit new highs. Therefore, it becomes even more imperative that we hydrate. 

Shocking it may be, 75% of adults in the U.S. are already chronically dehydrated, drinking only an average of 2 1/2 cups of water a day. Dehydration is even more prevalent on days when the temperatures are particularly hot. so, what a better time than August to have a hydration challenge.

To  help encourage us all to drink more water, this month we are asking you to join us in drinking more water (delicious, high-quality H2O).  The goal is to help us all beat the heat, but also get into a routine of drinking more water.  The average person needs 1/2 their body weight in ounces of water each day, but if you are actively exercising (sweating) or spending anytime outdoors in this heat you will need more. You can do the math!

For this challenge, we're not concerned with the math. We would like you to...

All you have to do is register for the challenge using the RSVP button below to get started.  

Once you've registered, on August 1st post a picture of yourself on Facebook or Instagram with or drinking your water, tag @sagewood_institute and @wellnessdesigngroup, add a comment with how you're feeling, along with #hydratingfor20 and share.  Feel free to share a photo on social media as many times as you like from August 1st - 20th.  Each time you share, you will be entered into a drawing for our Super Hydration Fun Pack! 

The drawing for the Super Hydration Fun Pack will be held in-person on August 29th at 5:30pm, as part of our FREE educational event: Happy and Hydrated!

We look for to seeing your social media posts, hearing about your experience, and hosting you at our event on August 29th - Please register for the event separately. 

***Please check with your physician before beginning this challenge. You do not have to be a resident of SWFL to participate. You must register for the challenge to receive the 20% discount on one (1) IV Therapy Session. The 20% discount can not be redeemed for cash and is only valid for one (1) IV Therapy session at Sagewood Institute in Naples, Florida.  Posting on social media is optional and at the sole discretion of the participant. All registered participants will receive a 20% certificate via email on August 21, 2023 - Certificates expire on November 21, 2023. You do not have to be present on August 29th at Sagewood Institute event to win the Super Hydration Fun Pack, but you must claim your prize in-person at Sagewood Institute - Items will not be shipped.
